Hi 👋, I’m Stefan!
I co-founded hackers&wizards. Agentic product engineering is a completely new skillset for engineers, and we help teams get started through hands-on trainings. Building this company is a lot of fun and I learn something new in every training myself.
Together with two co-organizers, I run Agentic Hamburg, a community of over 1,000 practitioners exploring how agentic AI is changing the way we build software. It’s a place to share knowledge, bring people together, and enable communities of practice. What started as a meetup has grown into a conference.
On the side, I’m building OnTree.co, making it easy to run your own LLM inference server on affordable, powerful hardware. I believe operating local AI yourself fosters a deeper understanding of the technology.

Background
I’m a software engineer with 20+ years of experience building products and leading engineering teams. I’ve worked on everything close to the customer, from native Mac, iOS & Android apps, over to Outlook plug-ins and web apps. These days, I spend most of my time enabling others to work effectively with agentic tools — and I keep learning in the process.
